Tomorrow is the quiz. To make sure you are prepared, take this time to review everything that we have learned this week. The quiz will be slightly different than what we are doing today in this review. Lets get started!
1. Open Reason
2. Create Mixer 14:2
3. Set your tempo in between 80-110.
4. Create a Redrum.
5. Make a 32 step redrum beat using a clap (on 5 & 13), a bass drum (on 1 and 3-4
more boxes), a hi hat (anywhere), and a percussion (anywhere).
6. Copy your pattern to track, then click the pattern button.
7. Create a Combinator.
8. Click on the folder: Go to Reason Factory Sound Bank: Combinator Patches: Orchestral
9. Choose any Orchestral sound
10. Play your Redrum beat & practice using major or minor chords!
11. When you are ready, set your Right Loop Point (R) to 5.
12. Record yourself playing your chords in. When you are finished, press the record button again to stop recording.
13. Click the quantize button.
14. Create a Dr. Rex Loop Player.
15. Load in a Dr. Rex Percussion Loop and put it To Track.
